Kenyan MP teaches Mathematics on facebook live

A controversial Kenyan Member of Parliament Hon BABU OWINO today surprised many when he went live on his facebook account to motivate form four candidates on revision of Mathematics.

Over 15 million learners have remained at home since mid-March after President Uhuru Kenyatta directed that all learning institutions be closed following the outbreak of coronavirus.

Following Hon Owino’s plea to have exams set according to the syllabus, the government responded saying National exams will be set according to the syllabus covered, the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) said on Thursday.

The Institute assured parents and candidates should not worry about end of year exams but instead focus on learning according to their environment; The Government will ensure learners will recover lost time by reducing the August holiday period.
